Ellen Heydenrych is a South African illustrator with a penchant for oversharing and a passion for picture books.
Her work draws from intersectional feminism and is rooted in the belief that all children should see themselves represented in the books they read.
Ellen has worked with companies such as The Tempest, The Sunday Times, and Mail & Guardian, intersecting her background in journalism with her passion for illustration.
A graphic artist at SoulProviders Collective, and writer at The Tempest, Ellen specialises in digital illustration, visual storytelling and personal narrative.
